Richmond Sand Gravel and Landscaping stock a range of sands for large and small scale construction projects and the home handy person. From a bucket or bag of sand to multiple 32 tonne truck and dog loads, we’ve got you covered. We stock sands for brick laying (brickie’s loam), rendering, tiling, paving, concreting, site and hole filling, children’s sandpits, horse arenas and stock yards.
We can supply sand in 20kg bags and Bulk Bags up to 1.5 tonne. You can call into our yards and we’ll fill your ute, trailer or truck, alternately we can arrange delivery of loads from 1 tonne mini tipper loads to 32 tonne truck and dogs loads using our fleet of trucks.
To help you decide which type of sand you need here is a rundown on the uses of different sands.
White Sand. Used in sandpits, paving, rendering, children’s playgrounds, some concreting & mortor mixes if a white colour is desired.
Richmond Bricksand. Blended onsite at Richmond Sand, Gravel & Landscaping, Richmond Bricksand is the area’s best fatty bricksand, used as brickies mud, and is also great for under tanks and above ground pools as it compacts down and is a clean product.
Gold Coast Brick Sand. Gold Coast Brickies loam is a little fattier then washed sand and is mainly used as a base sand for making mortar that is used for laying bricks, block work, garden edging, stepping stones and fish ponds.
Screened Sand. Fine screened river sand used for concreting, tiling, rendering, paving and as a bedding sand.
Fill Sand Budget clean filling sand, used as clean fill for back-filling holes and site fill.

This ready to use concrete mix makes creamy easy to work concrete. A blend of 10mm aggregate and screened sand and all you need to do is add cement, available from us, and water. Suitable for slabs, footings, footpaths and garden edging. -
